STUDIO18 is very excited to be kicking off the month of July with a joint exhibition of Vicky Washbourne and Kevin Sinnott.
There is a preview Sunday 3rd July, 2022 from 2:00 till 4:00 pm. Vicki Washbourne’s watercolours will be on the balcony and a new arrangement of old and new paintings of Kevin’s.
Kevin’s exhibition is called ‘Leap of Faith’. The key painting is “Culture Wars” which was first painted in 1983-4 during a Leap of Faith away from Modernism, but not exhibited until this exhibition in STUDIO18 -Pontycymer’s own art gallery.

Dear Kevin,
I have a print called 4 Sisters by you, 6/50. I look at it all the time but can’t really figure out what’s going on, sometimes this, sometimes that.
Are you able to tell me what the inspiration was and whether it was a preliminary work for a painting?
I’m also from Bridgend but now live in Guildford.
